UNIT 1. Let's Travel The World

Welcome to the very first unit!

One of the best benefits of learning languages is to travel and be able to communicate with native speakers in their native language, so let's get started with some vocabulary about traveling and checking the future form.

Task 1

Traveling: Phrasal Verbs

Watch the following short video. The first one is about 5 phrasal verbs that are used to travel and the second one will provide you with some vocabulary related to traveling as well. Write the phrasal verbs and the vocabulary down so you can memorize them easier.

Tasks 2 & 3

Traveling: Vocabulary

Once you are done watching the video, you will be able to do task 2,  and task 3. The first one is an activity where you will test those phrasal verbs by choosing the missing one, and the other one is a crossword to check some of the vocabulary.

When doing the crossword, remember that if one definition is linked to an expression composed by two words or more, or separated by a hyphen, those words are written with no spaces. (Ex: Day-off > dayoff)

The following task is to read the information on the image on the left, take notes and do a quick exercise which is  simply to write 5 sentences using "will", other 5 using "to be going to" and submit them on the submission section.

It is very important to know the differences between "Will" and "To be going to", and you will be able to use them to express future intentions.
