This time, we are going to look up some vocabulary on shopping and the passive voice.

Shopping: Vocabulary
Let's get started by watching this video about some vocabulary for shopping. Places, verbs, and more. Write them down and get ready for task 2, were you will have to match the image with the vocabulary.
Finally, move on to task 3, a crossword. Remember that more than one word or a word that is divided by a hyphen is written as a one word.

Passive Voice
First of all you need to know the structure of the passive voice:
Object + verb "To be" conjugated + Past participle + by + subject
Ex: The door + was + opened + by + the professor
It is used to focus the attention on the thing or person affected by the action (what would be the object on an active voice sentence). Besides, passive voice is used when we talk about actions that one self cannot do.
Ex: You do not cut your hair but you get your hair cut
On the image on the left, you can find examples of active voice sentences written in different tenses being transformed to the passive voice.
Now that you have the information, you can do task 4, which consist on transform 10 active sentences into passive.

I will add here for you a list with modals, which is going to be very helpful for you. There, you can find an exercise to practice them. Please, do it and check your answers with the ones in the file.
